FOUR TOP TEN PLAYERS HEADLINE RECENT 2025 RBC HERITAGE COMMITMENTS

South Carolina’s Signature Event, taking place over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links, is proud to announce Ludvig Aberg, Jason Day, Tony Finau, Viktor Hovland, Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele, will be competing at the 57th tournament April 14-20, 2025.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (Tuesday, April 8, 2025) – As one of eight limited-field events, this year’s highly anticipated RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing will feature the top players on the PGA TOUR. South Carolina’s Signature Event, taking place over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links, is proud to announce Ludvig Aberg, Jason Day, Tony Finau, Viktor Hovland, Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele, will be competing at the 57th tournament April 14-20, 2025.

These professionals will be joining defending champion Scottie Scheffler, as well as past champion Matt Fitzpatrick. Previously committed standouts also include Akshay Bhatia, Keegan Bradley, Patrick Cantlay, Wyndham Clark, Tommy Fleetwood, Russell Henley, Max Homa, Shane Lowery, Hideki Matsuyama and Justin Thomas.

Xander Schauffele is number three on the Official World Golf Ranking and has nine career wins plus a gold medal from the 2020 Olympics. The San Diego State University alumni won two majors last season – The Open Championship and the PGA Championship. He has never missed a cut at Harbour Town and will be competing for the sixth time.

Collin Morikawa is number four on the Official World Golf Ranking. The California native has earned six victories on the PGA TOUR since turning pro in 2019. Two of those wins were majors -- his debut at the 2021 Open Championship and the 2020 PGA Championship. He represented the United States at the 2022 Presidents Cup, the 2020 Ryder Cup and 2024 Olympic Games. He has never missed the cut in his previous five starts at the RBC Heritage.

Ludvig Aberg is number five on the Official World Golf Ranking just two years after turning pro. He represented Sweden in the 2024 Olympic Games and played golf at Texas Tech. He has carded two wins on the PGA TOUR including this season’s Genesis Invitational and is making his second start at the RBC Heritage after finishing tied for tenth last year.

Viktor Hovland is number nine on the Official World Golf Ranking. The Norwegian represented his country at the 2024 Olympics and was on the 2020 and 2023 European Ryder Cup teams. He played golf at Oklahoma State and joined the PGA TOUR in 2020. He has earned seven wins on the PGA TOUR, including this season’s Valspar Championship. In 2023, he won his first FedExCup title and earned victories at the Memorial, BMW Championship and TOUR Championship. This will be his fourth start at Harbour Town.

Tony Finau is number 34 on the Official World Golf Ranking. The Salt Lake City native turned down college basketball scholarships to turn professional at 17-years-old. He gained national exposure by finishing second in the 2009 season of Golf Channel’s Big Break. He has earned six career wins and will be making his sixth start at the RBC Heritage.

Jason Day is number 36 on the Official World Golf Ranking. He has carded 13 wins, including the 2015 PGA Championship. The Australian has been a member of four Presidents Cup teams and has carded two top ten finishes this season. He will be competing in his eighth RBC Heritage, after carding a T18 finish in 2024.

PGA TOUR professionals have until Monday, April 14th to commit to compete. The complete field will be posted on RBCHeritage.com at that time.
